At the beginning of Spring I planted 25 hazel trees in my garden, I was told they were about 4 years old. I know they will not bear fruit this year but can anyone tell me how old are they are before the do produce nuts, and when should I think about coppicing There are several strong limbs on each of the plants which are now about 4 foot high.
