I just had new carpet laid. Looks great. However to my horror when I moved armchair and table after 3/4days there are indents on my carpet. Still there 2 days later. Cut spare parts of carpet and sat all furniture on squares, however they move when I do especially under armchair castors. Are the saucer caster cups any good? They seem expensive 8.00 for 4. So wld need 12 for sofa/
chairs, 8 for two tables and 4 for t.v. Total 24 = 48.00!! Help! Any other suggestions for indents??

I think they are meant for furniture that does not move much - tables etc. Mine work Ok and I am not aware of anything better
think you'll find there VERY much cheaper at any wilkos or poundstretcher store
To rid the carpets of indents, rub some ice into them and leave to dry, and the marks will go.
B&Q do a pack of four from 2.28 to 2.68 depending on which size you want.
I recently sold 20 brown ones on Ebay for 2.00.

They still mark the carpet, but are more useful for moving the furniture easier. I only sold them because we now have laminate floors throughout.

Perhaps you could cut some small squares of spare carpet and put that under the legs.
up date wilkos medium size 1.29 pack 4
Carlton is right leave an ice cube overnight on the marks and they will go even if they've been there for ages.
