Fast growing plants

Help.....I need a fast growing plant for a steep sunny bank.....i dont want it to tall can anyone suggest anything?

Do you mean as ground cover or something higher? What kind of soil to you have?
Fastest growing plant I know is ivy, is that what you want?

In addition to the suggestion of ivy, an excellent ground cover would be Ajuga... it grows thickly, comes up a deep green turning to bronze and redish. Stays about 4, maybe 5 inches tall and is perennial. Drought and shade tolerant as well. (Sometimes called Bugleweed)
