Is that constant shade or just for (which?) part of the day?

it is a south facing garden, but the plant will be in front of some large holly trees - so plenty of light all day, but no direct sunlight.
Ivy
russian vine
but the problem with fast growing plants is that they dont stop when YOU have had enough they just keep growing and then you have a job trimming them
Russian Vine is very fast growing, and great for covering a bare wall or fence, but boy does take over, mine has to be pruned very regularly, otherwise it would take over the garden!
