I have had a money plant for the last few years, always kept in same position. Over the last few weeks it has shed many leaves and is now down to two sorry looking stalks with a very few sorry looking leaves. anyone any ideas to rescue the poor plant?

A portent of the recession?
It could be lack of water or maybe it got too cold.
I had one in the greenhouse which got forgotton and froze one night. It lost all its leaves but regrew them in the summer.
Just give it some tlc. Start feeding it to give it a boost.
You might want to be brave and start again. Just break off stalk and put it into fresh pot with soil. I find they root very easily.
