I've had a good look through previous answers to the persistant problem of Mildew, but my problem is that it's all over the paintwork just around my bathroom window. I happily toddled out to the shops for some Dettol mould and mildew remover yesterday only to find it say 'Do Not Use On Paintwork' on it, what are my option now? should I use bleach? would vinegar work? I rent the flat so i really need to keep it under control. We.ve got a dehumidifier installed and the window has a vent at the top but it just keeps on spreading down the wall. help please.
