Well I unfortunately will be unable to take advantage of the munificence but there are reports from all over the country that apple crops are about 30% up on last year ( so the rain was good for something!!!).

sainsburys has all english apples on offer (or at least they did saturday) and i bought some cox's there

all british apples are �1 a bag this week. The Cox's i got were grown in Kent on Rankins farm apparently :)
