what can i substitute for iris or day lily which i don't care for

Daffodils? Triffids? WHERE?????????
try an agapanthas, long tall stems with a ball of beautiful delicate flowers usually lilac, purple or white, quite modern looking or some colourful antirhynums which are alittle more cottagey and come in a ray of different colours... both types come back every year although the agapanthas i think tend to completely die back though not truly sure on this
