my pond.....................

just thought i would share a picture of my (the landlords) pond.
Its in the middle of being sorted out at the moment hence the murky water!Unfortunately none of the resident wildlife wanted their picture taken!
It in a previous hay-day an eye treatment spring, supposedly people would come and collect the water for eye treatments, which would explain the glass i find in the spring head! The lane is named after it highwell, anyone else got interesting facts about their gardens??
