Is my fridge broken?

What temperature should a fridge run at. Mine seems to be between 8 and 10 c. I'm sure this is far too warm. It is a fridge built within the kitchen units. Is this repairable, or do you think we need a new one? Is it much more expensive to buy a fridge to fit within units (ie it has wooden unit door on and is set in) than it is to buy one from eg. Argos?

Does it not have a settings dial so that you can alter the temperature? It is usually inside the fridge somewhere.

Your fridge should be 5 deg C or lower. Fridges tend to work harder when the weather is warm. I'd get it fixed or replaced soon. Be very careful storing raw meat and dairy products in it as these will go off within a day if unrefrigerated.
