Old Coins

Hi all,

I wonder if you can help.

I have a load of the old style single colour 2 coins. I know the banks and post offices won't take them, but they have both suggested coin dealers. I have contacted quite a few, and none of them take them. I also have lots of 5 coins. Anyone know of anywhere that might take them,

Thanks

when I worked on the checkouts for a leading supermarket till mid 2007 we accepted both the old style single colour 2 coins & the 5 coins. I'm surprised that banks or post offices won't take them. I really did think they were still legal tender.
