I have a nest of tables in the conservatory but they have straight edges. Is there something I can buy to put on the edges to stop any of my grandchildren felling and catching themselves on it.

Maybe you could put a plant in front of the tables so the kids will not reach them so easily, or by the time they get near to the tables the supervising adult will intervene and distract the kids or move them away.

Or you could remove the tables for a while until the kids gets older to know the tables edges can hurt them, should in case they fall over or bump into them.
I know the feeling! If they only come around 1-2 times a week then I'd put a thick towel over them during their visit. If children there every day, put the tables away for a few months. Everything seems to be a danger. I place a cushion on each end of my marble hearth, move glass vases, china, etc. and put them back after they've gone!
Just noticed what I'd typed - I meant to put the thick towel over the tables and not the grandchildren! Although, there's an idea......
Try here and search for corner cushions, it is a very long link to put in here otherwise

If its a temporary thing I used to use pipe insulation like this for a marble coffee table when my niece was a toddler. I used the 22mm stuff because the marble was quite thick. You just open up the slit and with some sticky tape, a craft knife and a bit of blue peter-esque jiggery pokery you can cut a few wedges out at the corners to bend it and manufacture a custom fit bumper that you can pop on and off when required. Alternatively you could just cut it to length and bend it or just have straight runs?

Not too pretty but you could paint it if its to be semi permanent I suppose?
Get enough so you have some to slide over the front edge of the glass on the smaller nest tables if they protrude?
Hope this helps, those sharp edges scared the bejeesus out of me!
