how to remove candle wax from a carpet

I'v just spilt quite a lot of candle wax on my carpet, tried removing it, but wthout success, any ideas Thanks Kay

Heat it with a hair dryer and soak up with a cloth. Daffi x

tried and tested with kitchen paper and warm iron (as suggested by zac)

Yes kitchen paper and a warm iron. Nail varnish remover will probably damage your carpet.
