being charged for theft

hi i was living in private accomadation when leaving the property i asked for my deposit back. the landlord refused to give it me back with no explanation as to why not, i then took the fridge and washer that was in the property. i had a 4 month old son at the time and was scared because he was a nasty landlord one of the reasons as to why i left. while out the other day i got arrested for theft, got to go back to police station tommorow, they will decide then what happens next. i am scared that i will go to court etc etc ive never been in trouble with the polioce before so can someone advise me on what might happen if they take me to court, please help
