I have polystyrene ceiling tiles in my home which have been painted with emulsion paint. Are these still a fire hazard, if so at what risk?

Take em off now (if you're redecorating) as when you come to sell it the surveyor will want them taking off.
They are a fire hazard, but I would'nt have sleepless nights about it.
