Hi! I will be moving to Austria this year and taking some of my household goods and would like to take some white appliances which are new. I am wondering if the freezer and dishwasher will work. I know I can take my hairdryer as all I need is a travel plug adaptor, but I have no idea about large appliances. Help please.

Its the same voltage in Austria so no problems there, but you will have to put new plugs on (or use an adapter). You may have to change the hose connector on the dishwasher as well.

Hi Clev, really good point, thanks. I will have to look into the cost of shipping the household stuff with the white goods and the cost without. Wish I could go with just a suitcase. All this attachment to material stuff is sad really.
