I bought a toy from argos which was of poor quality. I paid for it with my Switch card. I took it back to EXCHANGE for a different toy (without my purse) and was told i could not get an exchange without my switch card.. I went back with my switch card and got a refund, then had to pay for the new product. I was told I would have to wait 5 - 7 days for the refund money to go back into my account. Should I have to wait for this money?

It's a standard response. Generally, they will issue the refund straight away but it can sometimes take up to 5 working days to clear through to your account. It works both ways, sometimes when you pay for something with a debit card it doesn't actually leave your account until a few days later.
