Can anyone recommend the Sebo range of vacuum cleaners - my Dyson no longer seems to get the job done as well as it used to!

Sebo is a fantastic vacuum. We use them in our care home and they get alot of stick but they are very reliable .I would recomend the bs36 .They are much better than a dyson .
We've got an X4 and its great. Also it has a longer handle than most, so I don't have to stoop to use it. They are only available in the shops at John Lewis for about 250, but if you google 'sebo' you will get one for around 200 on line.
I got rid of my Dyson - couldn't stand up. I bought a Miele which I would highly recommend.
Hi wintersett,

I just bought a Sebo BS36. It's probably the best brand on the market. Industrial quality, which is fashionable these days anyway. The performance is fantastic and the build quality is the Mercedes Benz of Vacuum cleaners. The others are well advertised domestic cleaners but the Sebo is the professional choice. As for Dyson, it may have a new technology but it isn't on the same planet as a Sebo and the build quality is ^*&"!& awful!! Do yourself a favour and invest in a Sebo, you won't regret it - and it's not even that expensive! Guide price for the Sebo BS36 - about 240.
