steam generator irons

16:38 on Fri 05/Jan/07 I would like to buy one of these, but unsure which one. Does anyone have one? Can you recommend them? Which make is best? Many thanks in advance.

(19:08 on Fri 05/Jan/07) I have a Tefal ProExpress, don't know if they still make this one, it was top of the range when I bought it around 3 years ago. If it conked out on me tomorrow I would sell my granny to buy a new one, they are brilliant, ironing takes half the time of a conventional iron.

(01:35 on Sat 06/Jan/07) Same as Rocky ... Tefal. My advice is that you have to go somewhere you can fondle the merchandise, as lots of them had similar features but some were just not very floaty on the material or very comfortable to hold for very long, and these were supposed to be best sellers! Blummin' heavy too some of them.

I work as a professional ironer and use the Tefal Pro-express and it is fantastic! Would recommend this particular make in any of their range.
