Does anyone know whats the best product and whats the best way to finish a piece thats been turned for a floorless finish.

I think perhaps you intended to say flawless finish, in which case, after succeedingly finer grit sanding ending with fine steel wool, apply at least three coats of Tung Oil (more are better). It does depend on the intended use for the newly turned piece, but Tung Oil will provide a lasting, low lustre finish. Be sure to use 0000 steel wool between coats to remove any small dust or wood particles and then use a dust free tack cloth before each coat. Additionally, be sure to locate 100% pure Tung Oil. Most commercially avialable concoctions are not pure Tung Oil... Best of luck!
