I've just bought some chipboard from homebase and I'm planning on painting onto it for xmas pressies. how can I seal the edges so they're not all er... chippy?? thanx xx

If you paint the edges with emulsion then sand down it will be less chippy, but it might take a few coats/sands to get rid of it completely.
Hi loukr,

I always seal chipboard with Unibond. This completely seals it from moisture penetration.

You can then either paint it, glue or nail an edging onto it.
