Does anyone know of a company which will insure for buildings and contents when you have a previous criminal conviction please?

I know they insure buildings/contents for people in more unusual situations. Give them a call and good luck.
I�m confused. Why would the fact that you have a criminal conviction stop you getting home insurance? I�ve never been asked this when I take our insurance. Motor insurance, yes, but not home. Unless it was insurance fraud?

Have you been turned down on this basis? Name and shame!
i was asked it when we took out a new home policy.
