Hi, During a recent holiday my nieces favourite doll was packed along with various comics/magazines etc., unfortunately when it was removed from the bag the dolls face was covered in ink which must have transfered from the comic.

Does any one know of anything that will remove the ink nothing will placate her, please, please help we are desperate!

Thanks.

Have you tried nail varnish remover? Try a small patch, at the edge, if you know what I mean, just incase there's a reaction between it and the plastic. Use a cotton bud or something you can limit it's spread with. But be careful, if it works, and the doll has printed-on 'colour' (i.e. cheeks, lips) it might also take that off. Hope you find something that works : )

Hi, Thank you for your suggestions, unfortunately it hasn't worked, the dolls face is a rubber like substance rather than a plastic.
Any suggestions?
Thanks again. Chloe x
Have you tried an abrasive cleaner i.e. Jif (or should I say Cif?)
My granddaughter had the same problem with her doll when she was little, i tried everything i could but nothing got it off, eventualy over time it diminished.
