Does anyone know how different the sizes of duvet are between the uk and the usa. I am about to go on holiday and was told that beeding is cheaper in the usa but i just wanted to check thaty the sizes aren't hugely different.

It's a little different. Single beds are called twin beds and are the same size. UK king size is called 'Queen size' in the States and they have their own king size too, which is bigger than anything we have. It is very cheap. The best places to go are:- Linens and Things & Bed, Bath and Beyond, if you can find them.
