We've recently moved and the front door of the house looks fairly grubby. Can anyone suggest what I can use to make the door white again, rather than creamy?

I usually go to a double glazing company in birmingham and they sell me a bottle of cleaner, its a kind of creamy paste, and much better than the usual stuff you get from wilkinsons etc,so maybe you could too.
Hi Agree with Stevie. However it maybe that the profile has discloured. Any Idea how old the door is?

I've no idea how old the door is. The house is about 27 years old I think but the door has probably been replaced since then!

Thanks for the tip about going to a double glazing place - I'll try that.
You can also try some T-Cut that you use on your car body work it come up a treat.

Eh? Car bodywork????? That's OH's realm!!! Thanks though.
Plocket, You can get cream cleaner form a Double glazing place. If you have stubborn marks they will sell you a solvent cleaner. Either that or try WD40.
Do not rub these in very hard as you can take the top sheen off the profile. If the colour has turned to a pink colour, most profile suppliers offer a 10 year colour fast guarantee. But you must know who supplied the door in the first place. Rgds Al
