A few months ago I re-planted a couple of lemon pips in soil that I bought from a garden shop, I done it for my grandchildren. Today I noticed the soil is full of little clear worms, they are about 4-5mm long. The other week the same soil had little white jumping creatures in it that`s why I re-planted........... What`s going on?
Many thanks.

It sound's to me like nematodes, these are tiny organisms that live in soil and help to break down oganic matter.
Some kinds can be benificial to plants but others can be harmful and paracitic to plants. Whatever the case, I think its something that you Dont want in your house plants, try treating the soil with a house plant insecticide, carefully following the instructions. Good Luck Tbird+
