How to get rid of mosqitos from garden pool

I have a small garden pool with a pump, can somebody please advise me how to stop mosquitos breeding in it, also what is the best way to keep it clean, I have no plants in it at the moment, would some goldfish help?

plants will help a lot, go to pond shop and ask they will help sort it out.
