Our fence looks awful

14:30 on Sat 29/Jul/06 I am a first time buyer in a new build property so mine and the next door neighbour (semi-d) had no fence seperating us. My partner wassent to the Falkland islands for 4 months about 2 weeks after we moved in and as the RHS of the house was our responsibility to erect a fence it was left to me. I explained to my neighbours that with work and being on my own I would get one up as soon as possible, they instead said they had already bought one and said that they would put it up. I came home one day to find that my garden had been walked on so that my neighbour could put up a fence by attaching 2x4 to the posts and screwing 6inch screws through that to the fence posts that were at an angle. it also slope on to my side of the garden and sways in a slight wind, my dog had cut himself rubbing against the fence because the srews stick out 3 inches though the shoddy 2x4. I dont know what to do. The neighbour had now put their house on the market, so it seems that they did a quick fix fence for a quick sale as we have all only lived here about 5 months, it looks awful and its on my garden, at an angle. Suggestions?
