I'm having real trouble connecting my garden hose to my ikea kitchen mixer tap. I've tried every connector in the garden centre even the ones for mixer taps and none fit. I don't have an outside tap and I have the same problem with the bathroom taps. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Just a thought, try Ikea, or maybe get one of those DIY garden tap kits.
I don't think mixer taps are suitable for hose connections. We had the same problem and even when we got it on temporarily, the force of the water would blow it off and splash water everywhere. I really think the only long term solution to this is to fit a garden tap. Then you can leave your hose permanently connected to it during the summer. and you will avoid the risk of damaging your mixer taps as well and having to replace them.
hoselock make a multi adapter i myself a plumbing & heating engineer i need to connect to various taps and this adapter fits every time go to your local garden centre about 5

Thanks for the suggestions. I have tried the hoselock adapter mentioned and it doesn't fit. I think the only solution is to get a garden tap. Many thanks for your help.
