Can anyone tell me where to buy what my Nan calls "Cats' Claws"? They are small metal grippers which go on the underside of a rug and stop it roaming all round the room everytime someone walks on it.

A certain Swedish furniture do a very thin rubberised mat (cut to your own size) which works a treat and cheap too.

There is a latex spray called "CYBERGOLD" Turn your rug over & hoover the back of the rug ,shake the tin well then spray on the back of the rug 'leaving about 4inches around the edge not sprayed, let it dry till it's clear then spray it a second time & leave overnight. This works really well & will not damage your carpet or wooden flooring . Retails at about 10 in good carpet shops. hope this is of some help.
