I Bought an Ornithogalum Dubium in a garden centre in Norfolk. It is a South African plant,- the orange version of Chincherinchee. I seem able to only buy it flowering in a pot in Norfolk. The flower is like a miniature tulip. As I live in Devon it is a long way to travel to get a replacement. I have not been successful in getting it to grow again the following season. I left it in it's pot all winter and began watering it again in the New Year. As soon as it became warmer, I put it outside but nothing has happened and it seems that some creature enjoys eating it. I would love to know if I could get one of these plants in Devon and if anyone else has grown one sucessfully.
