Electric light fitting - Bathroom

I have 3 wires coming out of the ceiling (2 black ,1 red). which sockets do they go into the light fitting (Live , neutral and Earth) ? made a diagram from the old fitting , but have fused the lights once ! Unwilling to try again until i am sure.

Don't **** with electrics - especially in the bathroom. Get some one in who knows what they're doing

Hi, with that number of cables I would think that it must be -


The two black wires join together and connect to one side of the light bulb (neutral) and the red wire goes to the other side of the light bulb (live) and you appear to have no earth connection, so if you are installing a simple plastic light fitting thats OK but if it is metal you will need an earth wire installed for it.

The light fitting was as per the diagram i made , but the switch was the problem as i got the wires the wrong way round.... whoops
