Does anyone know who makes LG washing machine and tumble dryers. Not sure of the make. Are they any good?

i have an LG washing machine, i love it, its a direct drive one and is very quiet, and also mine has a larger drum so takes more washing, the model i got was expensive but it has made my washing much easier!
