Could some one tell me what the situation is with regard to producing your License if asked to by the Guards? Is it illegal not to have it with you,or is there a 10 day period when you can produce it at your local station?

Thanks,I already searched it,but the 'traffic' part won't open for me. Have a Guarda friend,and even he didn't know the exact law,said it was usually discretionary.Would like to know just for definite. Thank you though.

Aaagh...knew that word wasn't right,but persuaded myself it was 'guarda' not 'garda'. Oops!
