Can someone confirm whether it is cheaper to leave them on all the time, or to have them turning on & off at set times during the day?

hi there bigdogswang, it is cheaper to have it set to come off and on at certain times than to keep on all the while.
When we had ours installed we were told that keeping them on all day was no more expensive than turning them on and off because the water aint having to heat up from cold every time, but i'd like to know myself!
We have always left ours on, as zara4 has said saves the water heating up again, which has got to cost more, besides who whants to remember to keep switching it on & off!
