I recently bought a property with my partner in joint names and joint mortgage. We have decided that we no longer want to live together and want the property to be transfered into just my name. how do we go about this?

It will have to be done through a solicitor just see one and they will sort it out
It can only be done with the agreement of your mortgage lender, that is if they think you are able to pay the mortgage alone. Also what will happen about the equity which your partner may be giving up ? You will need to have a solicitor and also there may be some stamp duty to pay. However your mortgage lender may not agree to the whole thing.
