(18:46 on Tue 14/Feb/06)tulips also grow when in water after they have been cut which tends to assist with the flop thing as they get taller than when first arranged, you have to keep shortening them
(17:02 on Wed 15/Feb/06)I always put a two pence piece in the bottom of the vase before the water and - of course - the tulips. Really seems to help stop them from flopping.
