3000W for a hour is 3kWhr, in other words 3 units of your electricity, currently about 34p a unit or so, so just over a pound an hour
To calculate cost of any device

Power used in kilowatts x time it's on in hours x cost of a unit
If it has a thermostat which turns off the heat when the room is warm, then it would use less than 3kWHr.
