Friendship is something you can’t quantify , as we are away at Xmas they said,Let’s bring in forward ,So 10 of us met up in the pub this afternoon, I’m so lucky ( and happy)

I don't normally touch a drop on a School night but OH went out earlier to get some steaks and some Brandy to make a peppercorn sauce and brought back a lovely Cab Sauv so I might have a splash with dinner. Bless him, he bought me a bottle of Tanqueray Flor de Sevilla as well and some elderflower tonic. I'll keep that for when we have our Housewarming.

Many years ago, a local restaurant ran a Christmas Lunch in mid-july. A party of four of us from work attended and had a Merry Christmas.

Sadly, overall the event was not very well attended.
