I am hoping next week I should be able to visit quite a very sick lady in her home (lives quite a bit of a way from me) and I would like to cook up some home-made dishes. She is living off those vile frozen dinners from supermarket.

I would like to know what kind of plates (plastic) and covers I could get. Any ideas would be welcome. Thanks

i would use something like this, not plates. I don't think the supermarket ones are vile...depends on the supermarket I guess Amazon.co.uk User Recommendation

Thanks Woof. Will get some soon.
Amazon also has pack of nine with separate compartments for different food. Life story plastic plate with lid
Also at Amazon alyo
Probably depends on the sort of meal...meat and veg with lots of gravy or something like cottage pie....and also think how they're going to be re-heated (microwave or conventional oven or gamma-rays!)

microwave probably
at home, if i'm doing batch cooking i uually use plastictubs or takeaway containers. Both can be frozen, but i put stuff to be heated up in the oven in the takeaway tubs Amazon.co.uk User Recommendation , and plastic for things that are going to be defrosted before cooking or put in the microwave
