should have been IMO!
arsed
v. Simple past tense and past participle of ***. Bothered (as in can't be bothered to...).
In my dictionary, it's only there as in "can't be @rsed" rather than a word in its own right.
A parse will have been parsed. Were they parsing about. Either both wrong or both right in my view.
Is there a verb arsed?
Yes, see Ellie's x&p first answer.

I've just put it into an online Scrabble solver, and it's allowed.

I suppose it depends on which dictionary is the accepted one for that game.
It isn't a verb per se, merely a past participle which requires an auxiliary verb. Interestingly, the noun is not allowed on AB but arsed is.
For me, confusion abounds over this because from a young age I've always termed it as can't be ASKED, never as @rsed.
That might well be the origin, Chill, given that in the south ask is pronounced arsk.
Whereas up here, asked and arsed don't sound anything like each other.
No Tills not "ast" and not "arst" cannot be confused. (^_*)
Sorry Jackdaw, it's a long time since I had English lessons.
