Replaced bearings on washing machine- but have a new problem now , the drum is too forward. The door catches it and it makes a noise(so it is not an unbalanced load problem) .Checked everything and i can't find anything wrong in putting it back together.

This may sound "Oh well" is the bearing the right way in? are the balance Springs Hooked in place correctly?

Is it actually possible to fit bearings incorrectly? In fact , you would have to make a determined effort to do so ?
Springs hooks have been tried all ways - but to no avail
Regards the bearings, just a thought, did you check the bearing for the size before inserting?
The bearings may be the same diameter so they fit but a millimeter or two thicker. They come in a variety of width/thickness for the same diameter.
Did you check the compatible new bearing Tali? when you open the door does the Drum look central? if all looks ok, is there anything obstructing?

A friend readjusted the drum and it seems to be fine.He says it is impossible to fit wrong bearings -although he is speaking as someone with lots of experience who can tell them apart at a glance
