It all depends how deep the scratches are.You could try using anything from grade 000 (very fine) wire wool down to CXutting Compound orT Cut car polish. Gpood Luck

Sorry, I meant Cutting Compound. ( used on cars to remove 'orange peel' effect and bring up the shine. )
