I have just potted some pounshop Cauliflower seeds.
Due to my (well documented) slug problem - would I be able to grow them in pots? If so what size?

It's the depth of the pot which is important. At least 8inches according to the following :-

The amount of caulies I've got growing I could invite the whole of AB to a cauliflower cheese party
Trouble is I need to stagger the growth rates
You cannot (successfully) freeze caulies - I've tried
I know what you mean about freezing caulies. You only have to read the following to realise what a fag it is, without any guarantee of success :-

So I guess in effect you have to pickle the caulie before it will freeze!
I guess I will (hopefully) have to have a glut of caulie cheese in a few weeks. Yummy
Btw - did anyone see the recipe on yesterday's Saturday morning cooking show for caulie pizza? I've seen another one somewhere too

Cauliflower cheese, cauliflower pizza.... Either or both, count me in I love the stuff with a large glass of red in the autumn.
You can make cauli mash/puree....with a bit of butter and cream...lovely!
Was the pizza recipe the one where the base is cauli? I've yet to try that,but will soon.

They are coming on a treat
Don't forget to cover the curds with the leaves later on.
And, you can freeze them....you can buy frozen cauli florets.
Yes Ferlew but they are naff...
I haven't actually bought them myself.
