My OH uses Grecian 2000 and now we have a stain on our ivory leather settee. We have tried removing it with the clean and care pack that came with the suite but it doesn't touch it. Any suggestions gratefully received

Shoe polish?
Get OH to wear a balaclava!
I guess this is why they used to use antimacassars.
You could buy some square pieces of material and place them in the area on the back of the settee where the head goes, this will not only hide the area stained but can be washed often.
Have you tried hairspray ?
^ for cleaning the leather not for OH's hair

Antimacassars :)
Buy lots and lots of Grecian 2000 and stain the whole thing.
(O, the joys of ivory leather!)
Chuckle.
Buy an attractive throw to put on the top of the backrest.
Tell him to grow old gracefully! I'd go mad if that happened to my settee.
On a serious note, perhaps there is a helpline number on the Grecian bottle where advice may be sought from.
Have a go at a small piece with toothpaste and see if that works.
It is a very mild abrasive so go carefully.
