I'm a regular donor, 40+ and counting.
It was pretty much an order when I was in HM Forces.
What I do find shocking is that among almost 100 of my colleagues, only about 4 of us actually donate on a regular basis.
Quite sad when you consider how much of it we go through in work!

I've probably given about 40 units but as the Army and the Blood service keep separate records I'm not sure.

I'm a really poor bleeder and have a bad habit of going to inhospitable countries which exclude me from giving, consequently I haven't given for ages.

Hopefully I'll manage a unit or two next year.

I gave for years till the menopause when I started passing out and they very nicely said they didn't want me any more until I stopped getting menopausal symptoms.

Well done excelior.I made 75 before,like baldric,ill health stopped me donating,I was quite upset I think my Glen Mrange would have tasted that bit special out of one of those tumblers.They did send me a letter thanking me for my donations and wishing me well for the future which I thought was rather nice.As I said well done and keep going as long as you can
