whats best /easiest way of taking up the old uneven  ashphelt flooring  so i can lay down new ashphelton the concrete underneath

Asphalt flooring? Where do you have asphalt laid as flooring? It's more commonly used as road or roofing material and normally requires specialist help to remove.
