My partner and myself work for the same boss running a pub. she as worked for him for 30 yrs myself 7 yrs. last year he made it ltd company, he has told us today that he is giving the lease up in January, that means we are out of a job. We wondered where we stand legally and are we due to any recompense.

I don't understand your response but the situation is simple. If the business continues to exist, but is simply transferred to another owner, you have 'TUPE' rights, which are explained here:
https://www.gov.uk/transfers-takeovers/overview

However, as I read your post, it seems more likely that your jobs will simply cease to exist. In which case your employer must pay you (as an absolute minimum) Statutory Redundancy Pay. Information about that (including how to calculate the relevant amounts) is in my first link.
Would you not be able to take on the lease yourselves? Must at least be worth investigating how much it would cost.
