I had two Bristan taps fitted to my bath three years ago, I was told they do not drip as they have ceramic washers. The cold tap has started to drip, is it possible to service or replace the washer, or does the tap have to be replaced?

Ceramic cartridge Thumbs. They do wear eventually.

Here's the Bristan spares page, Thumbs................

Or ........... go to a plumbers' merchants such as Plumbcentre. Sizes can vary. It might be a good idea to take the complete valve body along to match up.
Take off the handwheel/crosshead, remove the shroud and unscrew the valve, leaving the tap and spout bit in place.
I changed two on our kitchen tap in the week, it's a simple job thumbscrew.

Many thanks The Builder, I have had a look at the video link, I should be able to change it and will take your advice and take the old valve with me to Plumbcentre
Plumb centre round here were completely useless with Bristan spares. I ended up contacting Bristan direct.
