Dad Is Home ..yipeee..

just had call from mum..apparently dad pitched up home after ten last night !!! bed availability reached a crisis level on the unit, so he was asked if he would like a taxi home ..?.....everything crossed he will be ok now till next chemo week on Thursday...

How far is he through the chemo now as that is your key fight?

DT...half way now, another four treatments to go...

when the fight really begins as I am sure you know. Fingers crossed and all the rest for him. Like you said, he's best out of the hospital and to be in his own bed/chair etc.

I am fine DT....catch up on housework..reading..letters today...had several years full time carer to FIL who had cancer and Alzheimer's...that WAS hard...but used to it all...would do whatever for him...love him so much..xxxxx

well I know about the joys of Alzheimers and carer breaks are very important, even for an hour or two! Enjoy your day and treat yourself.
